Motor oil has traditionally been stored in plastic bottles which typically use around 85% more material than the new Bag-in-Box packaging solution.
This design facilitates easier, more precise pouring and reduces the likelihood of spillage. The reinforced bag inside the box is made of a unique combination of polyethylene and nylon films which contains the aroma and prevents the oil particles from migrating. The bag is also very resistant to flex-cracking due to strong seals and tough film.
This new Bag-in-Box product is also very suitable for car repair shops as it eliminates the need to stock space-occupying plastic bottles or heavy drums. It can be stocked on a rack and connected to a distribution system, with several different types of motor oil on one rack.
It can be delivered flat, and the palletization and transportation of the products are reduced and optimized. Filled Bag-in-Box delivers a 9% space reduction compared to a plastic pail and around 85% less material compared to equivalent rigid plastic bottles. It is very easy to separate the bag from the box, totally recyclable.
BIB is the abbreviation of bag in box. The package is composed of flexible bag body made of various materials and external box made of cardboard. The bag body is equipped with a tap like switch, which is convenient to open and take out. The unique design can let the liquid flow out and prevent the air from entering, thus prolonging the storage time of products.
